Director - Overstory Finance

Rebecca Kowalski, FPFS, Cert ESG has worked in the IFA industry for over 25 years.  As a Paraplanner, she achieved three Paraplanner of the Year awards, in 2008, 2014 and 2016, from the CISI, PFS and Professional Adviser Awards respectively.  

In 2018, Rebecca moved into a compliance and management role, but also carved out opportunity to develop a successful sustainable investment proposition for her employer. Inspired in part by her climate activist daughter, Rebecca has developed a huge interest in sustainable finance.   

In 2021, Rebecca decided to launch her own sustainable finance consultancy service - Overstory Finance. The company aims to help IFAs embrace sustainable investing and ensure that our profession fully plays its part in respecting our planetary boundaries and tackling the climate crisis.  Rebecca’s career history working for a range of small to medium size firms in various roles has given her a rich experience that serve her well in understanding, supporting and influencing both within and without the profession.   

Overstory delivers sustainable finance motivation, proposition building, training, best practice, and communications and collaborates with other professions, charities, campaigners and consumer groups.
