Philippa spent 20 years as a lawyer running multi million pound cases against large financial institutions on behalf of high net worth individuals and groups of claimants. She led over 1,100 claims on behalf of the British Steel workers who were transferred out of their final salary pension schemes and gave evidence to the Public Accounts Committee during the inquiry into the FCA's handling of the British Steel Pension Scheme scandal. She also contributed to the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Fair Business Banking report on Building a Framework for Compensation and Redress and is a Non-Executive Director of two financial advice firms. She is a regular podcast guest and speaker at industry events, and she writes for financial services and legal magazines and is currently writing a book with clinical neuro-psychologist Dr Moira Somers on "What keeps us good".
